An Antidote to Apathy?

by Rachel Gertz

Dave Meslin is a big ideas guy. Fiercely optimistic and well spoken, he believes our apathy isn’t permanent, but is a product of the ways our cities and countries try to discourage our involvement. And what’s even cooler is that he thinks we can improve things like Canadian politics, democracy, and other public systems simply by changing how we interact with them. A short, punchy TED Talk that exposes new ways for us to engage with our systems simply by questioning their function and design.
