A number has no real magnitude until you put it into context. US drone strikes have killed an estimated 3115 people in Pakistan since 2004. But in case that number doesn’t feel real enough, visualizing each and every strike might help with that. This site spells out the data with hits and body counts. That’s a lot of unarmed men, women, and children dying in the name of a War on Terror.
In case you weren’t aware, the United States plans to have drones flying above every major US city by 2015. And a few over Canada to boot. They may not all have missiles, but do you trust an unmanned aircraft created for the sole purpose of spying on you?
