The Debt Resistors’ Operations Manual

by Rachel Gertz

Nestle in for this one. It’s a detailed PDF brought to you by the supporters of the Occupy movement to help us unite against big banks and drowning debt.

It highlights the completely legitimate and truthful ways you can improve your credit scores, challenge your credit card debts, and demand reform for the entire corporate structure of debt loaning. It’s shocking that so much of this information is kept hidden from us—used by our future and current employers, as well as banks and retail companies to measure our inherent risk to them in plus and minus signs. It’s even more frightening to learn that 80% of the info on file about us has mistakes in it. When was the last time you reviewed your credit report?

“Many credit reports are just plain wrong. A 2004 Public Interest Research Group (PIRG) study revealed that 79% of credit reports contained errors; 25% of these mistakes were serious enough to result in a credit denial. More than half of all credit reports contained outdated information or information belonging to someone else.” —Pg 5, The Debt Resistors’ Operations Manual
